Maria and Ryan’s Intimate September Wedding
Back in September we were lucky enough to be a part of the wedding of Maria and Ryan; a wedding that with our help was organised in only six short weeks! Maria is from Venezuela and flew over just 4 weeks before the wedding day, followed a week later by her sister who was to give her away.
This was such a lovely, intimate wedding on a perfect September’s day; the culmination of a long distance romance and many plane flights over the previous years! An outdoor ceremony on the terrace at Barrington Hall was followed by a drinks reception with the peacock’s entertaining guests, followed by a magnificent wedding breakfast from Boxed Events which contained more than a hint of Maria’s Venezuelan roots!
Maria and her sister both have an interest in floristry so we sourced their flowers from a local wholesaler before the wedding and the girls then had great fun arranging the bridal bouquet and table centrepieces. Their seating plan was a map of the world; all the places that they had visited together and their favours were little jars of coffee which of course Maria bought with her from Venezuela! one the Groom’s choice and one the Bride’s! The evening was very relaxed with guests tapping their feet to a playlist devised by the couple and a magnificent cheese cake along with wedding cake and a candy buffet to satisfy even the Groom’s sweet tooth!
Maria looked gorgeous in her wedding dress which was handmade in Venezuela and carefully travelled over with her whilst the men looked very dapper in their morning suits. The whole day was captured by the lovely Ian from Ian Olsson Photography.
We wish Maria and Ryan every happiness for their future.
